1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of any website, application, account surface, dashboard, API-connected workflow, hosted tool, upload endpoint, storage surface, generation interface, billing surface, support channel, or related service made available by Gateway Creative LLC. It forms part of the Terms of Use and may be updated from time to time to address legal requirements, provider restrictions, abuse patterns, security risks, and operational changes.
2. General Rule
You may use the Service only for lawful, authorized, and non-abusive purposes. You must not use the Service in any way that violates law, infringes third-party rights, breaches provider restrictions, evades moderation, compromises security, creates payment risk, or exposes Gateway, its vendors, or other users to legal, operational, or reputational harm.
3. Illegal, Harmful, and Restricted Content
- Content that is unlawful in any applicable jurisdiction, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist material, criminal facilitation, fraud, phishing, scam assets, or content intended to distribute malware or evade law enforcement.
- Content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors, or content that depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual conduct, trafficking, extreme violence, or abuse.
- Hate speech, harassment, targeted abuse, incitement of violence, or content intended to degrade, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against individuals or groups.
- Defamatory, invasive, or privacy-violating content, including unlawful doxxing, publication of personal information, or unauthorized disclosure of confidential data.
4. Intellectual Property, Publicity, and Personality Rights
- You must not upload, reference, transform, or publish content unless you have the rights, permissions, licenses, releases, and consents required for that use.
- You must not use the Service to infringe copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, likeness, voice, or other proprietary or personal rights.
- You must not generate or publish celebrity likenesses, identifiable private persons, or voice or face clones without all legally required permissions, disclosures, and releases.
- You must not rely on the Service as proof that any output is original, protectable, copyright-clear, licensable, or safe for publication, monetization, or commercial exploitation.
5. Deceptive Media, Deepfakes, and Misrepresentation
- You must not create or distribute deceptive synthetic content intended to impersonate, mislead, manipulate, defraud, or falsely suggest endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, consent, or authorship.
- You must not create undisclosed deepfakes, false evidence, fake testimonials, fraudulent advertisements, or manipulated political, legal, financial, or reputational materials.
- Where law, platform rules, provider rules, or commercial context requires disclosure that content is AI-generated, synthetic, or materially manipulated, you are solely responsible for providing that disclosure.
6. High-Risk and Regulated Uses
- You must not use the Service for medical, legal, tax, insurance, employment, housing, credit, immigration, public safety, law enforcement, biometric identification, or other regulated or high-risk decision-making without qualified human review and legal authorization.
- You must not use the Service to build, optimize, or support weapons, unlawful surveillance, sanctions evasion, cyberattacks, or other prohibited end uses.
7. Platform Abuse and Technical Misuse
- You must not reverse engineer, probe, overload, benchmark for competitive misuse, scrape at scale, exfiltrate hidden metadata, evade rate limits, or interfere with any part of the Service.
- You must not use automated methods to extract outputs or provider behavior for the purpose of training competing models or assembling substitute datasets without Gateway's express written permission.
- You must not attempt to obtain, transfer, resell, sublicense, or expose provider credentials, internal routing logic, moderation signals, queue internals, or private system behavior.
- You must not use the Service in a way that causes excessive infrastructure load, billing abuse, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or repeated provider moderation failures.
8. Sensitive Data and Confidential Information
Unless Gateway expressly supports a use case in writing, you must not submit regulated, highly sensitive, or confidential information through the Service, including health data, biometric templates, payment card data, government-issued identifiers, legal privilege material, export-controlled technical data, or trade secrets that you are not prepared to expose to third-party processing risk. You bear all risk of submitting such material contrary to this Policy.
9. Enforcement and Reporting
Gateway may screen, block, refuse, queue, remove, disable, preserve, review, investigate, or report content or conduct where Gateway reasonably suspects illegality, provider violations, copyright infringement, sanctions concerns, abuse, fraud, or security risk. Gateway may cooperate with rights holders, payment processors, service providers, regulators, courts, or law enforcement where Gateway believes doing so is required, permitted, or operationally necessary.
Gateway may suspend or terminate accounts for a single serious violation or a pattern of lower-level violations, and may apply stricter controls or permanent restrictions for repeat infringers, abusive chargeback behavior, moderation evasion, or attempts to misuse provider-backed generation systems.
